Hounds F4R Heroes is a patriotic organization focused on using their love of sporting dogs (think fox hounds, beagles, bassets and any other hunting type dog) to hold events to support veterans. I have had the honor and pleasure of covering some of their events and have found the people to be top notch, America loving, down to Earth people. While I personally do not own hounds, I have felt right at home among the people at their events.
I would encourage ANY person that loves our country to support Hounds F4R Heroes. I have known Capt. Ryan Rogers who owns The Midnight Sun Charters http://fishmidnightsun.com/, since he started his business. Capt. Ryan fishes out of Smith Point near Reedville, Virginia and he also fishes out of Virginia Beach at select times of the year. His charter can put your group on bluefish, rockfish, Spanish mackerel, redfish, and croaker. He also enjoys taking people inshore and offshore fishing for a variety of species.
I have always enjoyed fishing on The Midnight Sun because of the professionalism that Capt. Ryan and his mate exhibit. They strive to ensure you go home with fish in your cooler and they customize trips to fit the skill level and needs of the group.
I have an outdoor club that I started and I also teach at a public school. Many times, youth I am affiliated with have enjoyed trips on his boat. My family has fished from his boat countless times and we have never had a bad experience. Anytime I go out on a fishing charter, Capt. Ryan's business is the one I compare it to.
